Those of you who know me know I have been involved with the Soldiers Angels Ministry since 2004. Sadly, I have only sent out my assigned soldiers packages on Holidays and Special occasions. For all those men and women for what they do for us day in and day out since the war started today I came to the realization I want to do more! I believe together, we can make that difference! I just received this flyer in my email and thought to myself what a perfect opportunity to Bless our Heros with even just white socks! I am now accepting Busloads and Busloads of pennies…if you want to arrange a pickup please feel free to contact me. Anyone that has those pennies lying around and dusty please open to contribute to this special cause. Together, we can make a tremendous difference. I ask too please if you put these pennies in baggies mark them “Pennies for Heros” and we will be sure to reuse these bags again. I will be putting a bucket out at my Zumba classes so you can bring them there for your convenience, or if I see you in passing please feel free to contribute as well! Every cent will support our Troops! I will hold a penny rolling party in the summer some cold refreshments with burgers and dogs and lots of pennies!! Stayed tuned for updates as well as pictures!! If anyone who lives far or just wants to do this on their own please furbish all information right from the flyer. Email or call me anytime to set up a drop off or pick up and I will also send you my address at your request. Any large paper donations are to be mailed to the address on the flyer.
